Scrooge - The Panto

Dave Crump

Bah, humbug!

Christmas Eve is coming to London, but old Ebenezer Scrooge wants nothing to do with tinsel, turkey, or anyone else's good time. Poor Bob Crachett can barely afford presents for his brood — including towering-yet-"delicate" Tiny Tim — before the bumbling Bailiff's Men, Hard and Easy, are sent round to make life even harder.

But when the ghost of his old partner Jacob Marley turns up rattling his chains, Scrooge is warned that three spirits are coming to change his mean old heart — whether he likes it or not! Guided by the good-natured Ghost of Christmas, Scrooge is whisked through his past, present and future, while villainous Marley schemes to keep him miserly forever.

Add a scene-stealing Dame in penniless wig-shop owner Jemima Fezziwig, a will-they-won't-they romance between Scrooge's nephew Fred and Sarah, and a houseful of festive chaos, and there's only one question left: can Scrooge learn the true meaning of Christmas before it's too late?

A riotous, big-hearted retelling of the Dickens classic, packed with slapstick, singalongs, and a miser who might just save Christmas after all!
