Meet Ebenezer Scroggie — the meanest, greediest, most spectacularly miserable man in all of London. He hits children over the head with their own pennies, raises rents on Christmas Eve, and steals from the carol singers' collection tin. Honestly, he's terrible.

But Christmas Eve is about to get very, very strange. Three supernatural agents from the shadowy firm of Scarem Witless have been hired — by Scroggie's very own deceased business partner — to give him the fright of his life. What follows is a riotous, ghost-fuelled romp through Christmases past, present, and yet to come!
